Bio:

Cory Leonardo grew up believing she’d replace Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune. When it didn’t pan out, she decided to turn letters and phrases in a different way. Her novels, The Simple Art of Flying (Call Me Alastair in the UK) and The Hedgehog of Oz have had such distinctions as a Parents’ Choice Medal, a nomination for the CILIP Carnegie Award, and selection by the Junior Library Guild and have turned up everywhere from OwlCrate Jr.’s book subscription box to Scholastic book fairs. A born and bred upstate New Yorker, she currently lives in the Syracuse area with her husband, a collection of snow shovels, and her three children.
